The events of recent years have changed the Russian IT world, forcing companies to switch to products from domestic vendors. For manufacturing companies, the number one task has become replacing solutions from the German developer SAP. Alexander Tarasov, architect of the Arenadata sales support department, told us what difficulties companies face, how they solve them, and why “gray” license purchasing schemes are a dead end.

However, this is no more than a thousand organizations, which do not include the largest Russian companies, including organizations with state participation and the public sector. The exit from Russia turned out to be expensive for SAP: the company spent 410 million euros on business restructuring.
