Open Local Group Policy Editor from Windows Search or type gpedit.mscRun and press Enter.



Navigate to the following folder in the Group Policy Editor window using the left pane:

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Copilot


Select Enabled, click Apply, and then click OK.



Restart your computer OR perform a logoutlogin cycle. Copilot will be gone from your computer.

To re-enable Windows Copilot, follow the same steps and finland telegram data select Not Configured or Disabled. Then click Apply and OK.

Remove Copilot from Windows 11 Using Registry Editor
If you are using Windows Home Edition or the Group Policy Editor did not help you, you can uninstall Copilot via the Windows registry. Changing the wrong registry entry can damage your system beyond repair, so be sure to back up your registry or create a restore point before editing the registry. Follow these steps carefully:

Type regedit in the Start menu and select Registry Editor from the results.



In the Registry Editor, copy and paste the path below or navigate to the location below:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
Find the WindowsCopilot directory and double-click it. If it is missing, you will need to create it manually as described in the following steps.
