These are not necessarily the most fun exercises. Sometimes when I tell Authentic French students to repeat, they tell me: "Well, it's because I prefer to do it", but really it is something effective and I encourage you to repeat each of the exercises several times because that is what will help you have good pronunciation.

A little reminder, before we start: You don't need to have perfect pronunciation, you don't need to speak like a native, it's not necessary. The main thing is that your pronunciation is south africa whatsapp number data correct enough for people to understand you. Having a slight accent can even be an advantage, it gives a little charming or exotic side. So stay calm, practice quietly with us, no stress.

After watching this video, after doing the exercises, you can go see my free lesson on the pronunciation of the "h" in French . It's the first link in the description and you will have all the secrets or all the tips to pronounce the "h" sound in French.

When should we make the liaison and when should we not make it? The third exercise will be a reading exercise and you will repeat a certain number of sentences. You'll see, the concept is simple and we've already followed it in another video.

We start with the first exercise, the discrimination exercise. We're going to show you a sentence on the screen, and I'm going to say this sentence twice, giving you a little time in between so that you can repeat it. So I'm going to say the sentence, I'll give you some time, you repeat it, I'll say it again, I'll give you some time, you repeat it.

We start with the discrimination between the sound "ou" and the sound "u". We show you the sentence right away.

It's not easy, so you have to take your time to practice. You can even go back if you want to try again. Let's move on to another sentence.

Very very good. Don't hesitate to really practice or repeat these exercises, to go back, to go back to really practice your pronunciation.

We now move on to the second exercise, which is a liaison exercise. There are three types of liaisons in French. There are obligatory liaisons, that is to say you must make the liaison in this case; liaisons that are forbidden, you are not allowed to make a liaison; and liaisons that are optional, you can do it or not. And we have proposed a complete video on the liaison in French on this channel , we put the link in the "i" as info, here, and you can go and discover the theory behind it. Today, we will simply make you repeat. Same principle as in the previous exercise, we show you the sentence and I make you repeat it twice.
