A coach inspires me to do what I know

Post by jrineakter »

Hello dear friend and thank you for joining me for this new episode of Walk With Johan.

Before we move on to today's personal development content, let me invite you to a great event. This is something that has never been seen before at Français Authentique. We are constantly trying to innovate and create new things.

And we organized, from November 14th to 17th, so, I think it's Thursday the 14th until Sunday the 17th of November, we organized the summit of the Authentic French Academy . So, there's a link in the description that allows you to find out exactly what will be in this summit, what the program is, etc. And I'm not going to say too much about it in this episode.

The only thing I can tell you is that it is a series of conferences. So, you will have conferences that will be given by all or the majority of the tutors of the Authentic French Academy . I will give two conferences on Zoom on personal development. We will have conferences by our tutors Maude, Fabienne, Gwendoline, Monia. We will also have Olivier, obviously, probably Noah.

And so, we're going to organize during these three days, these four days, sorry, lots of conferences on Zoom, lots of surprises. I'm not going to tell you too much, but there will be moments of sharing, moments of discussion, moments in common.

And this summit of the Authentic French Academy , it is obviously accessible and free for all members of the Authentic French Academy, who trust us, who are members of our big family. So, all members of the academy access the summit directly, without any payment. And we decided… At first, we wanted to do it only for the academy, but we said to ourselves that we could offer other members of the community to join us for a small payment.

So, you can find all of that in the first link in the description of this episode and it will be a pleasure to meet you in person. We will have many other opportunities to meet during this israel whatsapp number data summit of the Authentic French Academy. That being said… So, the link is in the description, once again.

Today, I'm going to talk about a subject that I've already talked about, but I'm going to talk about it in a different way, and I'm going to explain to you who inspired me. So, right now, I'm a little out of breath. It's going up, as it often does. I do more or less... I do a tour that... when I record, which always takes these paths that go up, that go down, so, each time, I have little moments during which I'm out of breath, but it's not a big deal. If we were walking together, you'd be with me and I'd be out of breath too. So, that's not a problem.

It was my friend Ling-En who inspired me to write this topic. Ling-En is a coach. He helps or trains… In any case, he is a coach's coach, if you like. He helps people develop their business on the internet, people who have a certain expertise and who want to create their program on the internet. So, it's been a long time. I've known him for 10 years. He's been established for a very long time. He's someone who is super humble, super competent, who has a great mentality. And so, we see each other as soon as we can, unfortunately not often enough because we live very far from each other, he lives in Strasbourg.

And actually, this summer, as I was passing through France, we arranged to meet up for a day of exchange in Strasbourg. I said to him: "OK..." Well, he doesn't live in Strasbourg, he lives in Alsace, not far from Strasbourg. I said to him: "OK. It would be nice if we met up." So, I went to Strasbourg during my vacation and he joined me there. He rented a coworking space. It was just the two of us, so it was really great.

And in fact, the exercise he suggested I do is something I've already talked about and which seems exceptional to me. When we arrived, we said "hello", we asked each other how things were: "How are you? How is your family?" Etc. We had a coffee and he said to me... really right at the beginning, eh, we had barely had time to talk... oh la, I almost fell... barely had time to talk, he said to me: "Johan, what will a successful day look like tonight?" So, what he did, he invited me, he invited us to define the intention from the beginning and not, you know, come on, we sit down, and then, we talk, without a plan, without planning anything, in a 100% spontaneous way, we talk, we talk, we talk. No, he said: "What will a successful day look like tonight?"

And setting an intention like that is an exercise that I always do actually. I always say to myself, "Okay, hey, what are my expectations?" for everything, really, whether it's a small meeting or something that's a little bit more developed, that takes more time.

I was talking to you about the summit of the Académie Français Authentique earlier, well I didn't create the summit at random. I said to myself: "What are your intentions, Johan? What is the definition of success? How will you know, at the end, that you have succeeded?" Because it's too easy to say: "Okay, I'll organize this", and then, at the end, I did it, and that's it, that's it. But no, how am I going to judge? How will I know if it was a success? What is my intention?
