However, some lag behind foreign products has its positive effect. Not all progressive foreign developments are successfully implemented in practice: observing their application, Russian manufacturers can verify the feasibility of various refinements of existing solutions and the release of new products. An example is the use of the attribute-based access control model (ABAC). In itself, it is really very interesting and promising, since it is based on business requirements. But, unfortunately, this model is very complex and labor-intensive to implement.
Authentication and access control systems in Russia are in demand in the same segments of the economy where there is an increased need for information security solutions in general. Among them are the financial sector, oil and gas, the public sector, retail, etc. By 2025, the situation in this regard is unlikely to change. But the demand for information security products and, in particular, IAM class solutions will grow, especially against the backdrop of the emergence of mature Russian solutions in this segment.
We also assume that Russian enterprises will soon realize the need to create a unified ecosystem of authentication and access rights management based on specialized solutions. The LDAP/AD technologies jordan mobile database to most domestic organizations do not meet modern requirements for efficient operation. They have limited functionality, do not cover all corporate applications and services, especially when it comes to hybrid IT infrastructure, do not assume complex and adaptive scenarios of multi-factor authentication (for example, when working remotely). In addition, they rely on excessive trust of IT administrators and developers, do not know how to properly log and manage sessions, and do not support all modern technologies and protocols.
What awaits the Russian market?
