AGNITAS is GDPR compliant

Post by ritu2000 »

It's slowly becoming impossible to ignore the GDPR, which will come into force in the next few days. Whether in daily newsletters or in mailings, you can read headlines like "How to become GDPR compliant" everywhere. On social networks, the topic is now taking on absurd proportions. Just type #GDPR on Twitter... You don't know whether to laugh or cry. In plain English: there is panic and total uncertainty.

We at AGNITAS also had to deal with the topic peru number dataset of GDPR in detail, especially since we, as an email service provider, process very large amounts of personal data on behalf of our customers. Of course, we addressed the issue in good time and, with legal support, adapted our company to the new requirements. In the process, our EMM also received a few additional features that we would like to introduce to you today.

New Features
tracking veto
By default, the EMM records email openings and link clicks of recipients on a personal basis. However, the GDPR requires that those affected can object to personal tracking. Therefore, you must give the recipient the choice of whether or not their data should be recorded. The system profile field "sys_tracking_veto" for objecting to tracking was introduced in the EMM for this purpose. This enables the collection of statistical data, but not personal data. So that the recipient can also object later, we always recommend integrating a checkbox for objection in the email footer. Alternatively, a link to the profile page or to the preference center with a checkbox for deselecting is also possible. If personal tracking is not important, it is also possible to switch it off completely. It is of course possible to subsequently clean the database of personal data.

You can find more information here or contact your customer service representative directly .

information report
According to the GDPR, every recipient has the right to receive information about the data stored about them in machine-readable form. As part of this, we have developed an information report for the EMM. This makes it possible in the EMM to create a complete report for a recipient profile with just one click.

Bcc addresses for archiving double opt-in emails
To avoid unnecessary hassle, we recommend that you document every customer consent and every change, especially the double opt-in. This way, if there are any complaints, you always have proof that the consent was given legally. To help you with this, we have created the option of a blind copy address for transaction emails. This means that you can, for example, simply send your double opt-in emails to a specially created mailbox and archive them. If you wish, we can also provide you with a mailbox for this purpose. This way, you always have legally secure proof at hand.
