Satel TVK LLC supplies Ericsson equipment to the telecom operator

On November 9, T2 Mobile LLC filed a lawsuit in the Moscow Arbitration Court against Ericsson's Russian subsidiary and their equipment supplier, according to court records.

The defendants are two legal entities: Satel TVK LLC and Ericsson Corporation JSC.

"Moreover, most of the undelivered equipment relates to orders made long before the sanctions were imposed," Tele2 noted. They are demanding that the defendants pay fines and penalties, and also require them to fulfill the terms of their contracts. The company is not disclosing the amount of the fine.

On February 28, Ericsson announced that it was suspending deliveries to customers in Russia and analyzing sanctions imposed against the backdrop of the military operation in Ukraine. In April, the company announced an indefinite suspension of operations in Russia; employees were sent on paid leave.

Tele2 is currently also suing the Russian legal entity Nokia. The amount of the claim is 478 million rubles, the telecom operator's claims are also related to Nokia's refusal to fulfill the contract for the supply of equipment.

As in the case of Ericsson, Nokia began violating the terms of the contract long before the sanctions, Tele2 reported.
