According to the document, state representatives on the company's board of directors must vote to dismiss the current general director, Maxim Akimov, and support the appointment of Mikhail Volkov to this post," the Cabinet of Ministers' Telegram channel said.



JSC Russian Post was established on October 1, 2019, on the basis of the federal state unitary enterprise of the same name. It is 100% owned by the state represented by the Federal Property Management Agency. Revenue under IFRS for 2021 amounted to RUB 228.1 billion, net profit was RUB 1.5 billion. Owns 50% minus one share of Post Bank (the remaining 50% plus one share is owned by VTB). The main sources of income are written correspondence, parcels and other postal items, issuance of pensions, e-commerce, retail, financial services, etc. Almost a quarter of the income - RUB 52.8 billion - was brought in by IT services: the pochta.ru portal, mobile application, personal account of a legal entity, electronic registered letters, etc.
