Once you have selected a background image you can add it to your WordPress website

If you are using a block theme , you need to open the WordPress dashboard and navigate to the Appearance ” Editor page.

This will open the full website editor where you need to click on the “Add Block” (+) button to open the blocks menu. From here, add the “Cover” block.


This will open a view where you can upload your background image from your computer and add alt text. Then click on the “Select” button.

To do this, click on the “List View” icon at the top (icon with 3 lines). This will show an overview of the elements of the theme, such as the header and footer of the website.

Now simply drag and drop all elements of the template under the “Cover” block in the list view.

Once you do this, the image of the “Cover” block will appear as the background of the website.

Click the “Save” button above to save your settings. You have now successfully added a background image to your website.
