Vice President for IT Operations and Infrastructure at PJSC Rostelecom, CEO of Basis, David Martirosov, believes that in the future, the development of technologies will make IT self-sufficient.
"We call it 'carbon neutral IT' - IT that makes as much money as it spends. And I think in the foreseeable future we'll get to a point where IT costs nothing to businesses because it pays for itself," he says.
Dmitry Kharitonov, First ghana whatsapp number database Deputy General Director of T1 Holding, spoke about the approaches that need to be implemented in an organization in order to scale IT resources and optimize costs :
"We see two key factors that can help scale IT without dramatically increasing costs. The first is continuous monitoring of operational processes, analysis of key metrics, which allows you to track bottlenecks and understand how much they need optimization. The second is the introduction of automation elements. It helps reduce the number of manual operations, reduces costs, and also speeds up the work of companies," he explains.
Vyacheslav Khristolyubov, Director of Digital Transformation at United Engine Corporation, believes that the transition to standard and centralized solutions will reduce IT costs.
"This will allow companies to switch to standard processes and management systems. Centralized management is currently one of the priority approaches, which should ensure the efficiency of the holding company as a whole. A promising direction is predictive analytics systems that can predict the technical condition of products in operating organizations. Thus, it is possible to reduce the costs of maintenance and repairs already at customers and increase the attractiveness of our products."
Other industrial companies also spoke about the economic efficiency of implementing artificial intelligence. Alexander Petrosyan, Head of the Digital Transformation Project Portfolio for Exploration and Production at Gazprom Neft, spoke about how the technology is used in the organization.
"We use ML models to analyze the reservoir in geological exploration. This allows us to reduce the time by several months. Artificial intelligence allows us to choose the optimal mode of managing the well stock. We see an increase in the quality and speed of detecting anomalies by 75%. Predictive analytics is used to control repairs at gas infrastructure facilities, which allows us to reduce costs."
FESCO Vice President of Information Technology Dmitry Surovets also notes that the technology allows increasing the efficiency of the company’s business.
"We are looking at what projects artificial intelligence technology can do better. FESCO Transport Group already has a number of launched initiatives in the field of artificial intelligence. One of them is the optimization of the loading and unloading process at the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port, which is part of FESCO. With the help of artificial intelligence, we have identified the possibility of further increasing the throughput capacity of our port."
