Understanding the structure of Google Analytics

Post by shaownhasan »

You can create multiple views for each property, and by making full use of each view, you can greatly improve the efficiency of your analysis work. Even if you don't have a view set up in Google Analytics, you can still obtain a website chairman email list analysis report as long as you have a tracking code for collecting data.

Here we will explain the three layers that make up Google Analytics. To understand views, you need to understand the higher-level structure, so please use this as a reference.

account
An account is the top-level data structure in Google Analytics. Each property and view is contained within this account. If you take a company as an example, think of an account as a business unit. "XX Co., Ltd." is one account, and if "△△ Co., Ltd." exists, it will be a separate account.

Properties
A property is the middle part of the Google Analytics data structure. It is used to manage data on a website or app basis. Properties can be created according to the number of websites. For example, if you have multiple websites, such as a corporate website, a recruitment website, and an e-commerce website, you can create multiple properties.
