File names are important: replace" with a descriptive name

Post by jakariabd@ »

To provide a relevant image in response to a user's request, search robots use all available text elements.

In addition to the universal title and alt attributes (which we will talk about later), Yandex and Google robots pay attention to the name of the uploaded file. The name should match the contents of the picture. For example, if the photo shows a chocolate cake, then it is worth replacing the set of letters and numbers automatically generated by the camera with the name.

Before uploading files to the site, rename them. If possible, use one of the target keywords for that page in the file name.

The image title should be short and simple, new zealand phone number material containing at least one keyword that describes the essence of the image well.

Yandex takes transliteration into account, so you can safely name files in transliteration. You should not name files in Cyrillic, as Google robots may not recognize such a name. Plus, not all CMS correctly work with Cyrillic in file names and URLs.

Good file name. The robot will scan it and "understand" what is depicted in the picture

This name does not provide any useful information to the search robot.

The file name won't help your visitors at all, since they'll never see it (unless they want to download your infographic). But a good and relevant file name is a way to give search engines a little extra information about the content on the page.
