What apps do Ukrainians use most often in 2024?

At the request of the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language, experts from the Internet Marketing AgencyWebpromoanalyzed the rating of the most popular applications among Ukrainians in 2024 and its changes in recent years. The experts also studied the dynamics of Ukrainian-language queries in the AppStore and Google Play, checked popular applications in Ukraine and abroad for the presence of a Ukrainian-language version.

We share the results that reflect changes in Ukrainians' preferences on the Internet, and also help to create an objective picture of the growing popularity of the Ukrainian language on digital platforms.

The sample below covers the period from January to October 2024. The data is presented in the general context of all available devices (Android, iOS) and for each of the application marketplaces (Google Play, App Store).

It is important to note that in Ukraine the number of Android users prevails. Thus, the market share of this mobile operating system is67.32%, while for iOS it is 32.31%.
