Approve or deny user registration in WordPress

Post by shaownhasane »

The notification might look like this:

Waiting for review
You will also receive an email tongliao phone number notification on your administrative email address to approve or deny the user's registration.

Additionally, users' accounts will receive an email notifying them that their registration is pending approval.

Pro Tip: If you or your website users are not receiving email notifications, you need to set up WP Mail SMTP. For more details, follow the instructions in our guide on how to fix WordPress not sending emails issue.

The New User Approval plugin allows you to easily manage your review queue for user registrations.

Simply log into your WordPress admin area and click on the “Approve New Users” menu item in the admin sidebar.

Moderate user registration
A list of user registrations awaiting review will appear. You can then proceed to approve or deny the user's registration.

Users will then receive an email notifying them whether their registration has been approved or rejected. If the registration is approved, they can log into their account on your WordPress website.

Allow specific users to bypass user registration review
Approving new users also allows you to create invitation codes that users can use to register on your site and bypass the review queue.

To do this, you need to go to "Approve user" invitation codes and enter the unique code in the "Add code" box.

Create an invitation code to bypass new user review
You can also set usage limits for your invitation code and choose an expiration date. When finished, don't forget to save your changes.

Next, you need to go to the Settings tab and enable/disable user registration via unmoderated invitation links.
