Deleting Your Entire Telegram Account (The Ultimate Permanent Deletion)
This is the most extreme and irreversible step. It will permanently remove your entire Telegram account and all associated data from Telegram's servers.


Irreversible: Once deleted, your account and all data are gone forever. You cannot recover it.
All Data Gone: All your chats (except Secret Chats, which are already device-bound), media, contacts associated with the account, and participation in groups/channels will be lost.
Group/Channel Ownership: If you are the creator of any groups or telegram data channels, they will become ownerless or may be deleted when your account is removed. Consider transferring ownership before deleting.
No In-App Deletion: You cannot delete your account directly from the Telegram mobile app. You must use a web browser.
How to Delete Your Telegram Account:

Open the Deactivation Page: Go to the official Telegram deactivation page in a web browser (on your phone or computer):

Enter Your Phone Number: Enter the phone number linked to your Telegram account, including the full international country code (e.g., +1234567890).
Receive Confirmation Code: Telegram will send a confirmation code to your Telegram app (as an in-app message, not an SMS to your phone's default messaging app).
Enter Confirmation Code: Go back to the web browser and enter the confirmation code you received in the Telegram app.
Confirm Deactivation: You will be asked to confirm your decision and may be prompted for a reason. Select "Delete My Account" and confirm.
