The operating manual must represent all the strategies and winning habits that can lead your store to success and therefore it is not enough to deliver it and suggest to the franchisee to read it.
You have to create a real verification system for the theoretical understanding of each single chapter and that's not enough, it will also have to be supported by technical and practical exercises.
So if a chapter of the manual is for example “How to make a teacher data proposal to the customer”, practical and comparison exercises must be included where the franchisee demonstrates that he has understood how to approach the customer in a simulation.
So once you have created a solid technical/practical basis through the verification and analysis of the initial study, you will have to move on to the second step: constant training .
