Multiple Franchising,
In the case where the franchising also includes an activity abroad, the franchisor can use an intermediary and use a multiple franchising system, a master franchise or an area representative.
In the first case, the franchisee is generally not granted the right to use the franchisor's brand and know-how except for individual agreements. Multiple franchising is chosen by franchisors who intend to maintain the total control provided for in direct franchising, but without having too many individual franchisees.
With the master franchisee, on the other hand, the lawyer data franchisor allows the affiliate to propose changes to the contract and the franchising package but it is the franchisor who retains control of the business and can still oppose the changes suggested by the master franchisee. This is a type of franchising applied especially in foreign countries where management conditions are different from those of the country where the franchisor resides.
