Hide the default WooCommerce sale badge

First, we need to hide the built-in WooCommerce sale badge so that it doesn't conflict with our custom product badges.

The process is very simple. Go to your WordPress dashboard and click on YITH ” Badge Management . Then navigate to the “General Settings” tab.

Here, you will find an option that says 'Hide WooCommerce “On sale” badge'. Go ahead and enable that option.

Then, under 'Hide “On sale” on:', select 'All products' to ensure the default badge doesn't appear anywhere in your store.

While in the settings, you may notice a few other useful options. You can choose to hide your custom badges in certain places, like the sidebar or individual product pages .

This is great if you want to keep your store looking clean and organized. For example, if your mobile site looks too cluttered, you can also hide the badges.

Don't forget to click the “Save Options” button at the bottom of the page when you're done.

Step 2: Create your custom badge

Now comes the fun part: creating your first custom product badge in WooCommerce!

Go to the “Badges” tab and click the “Create Badge” button to get started.

The plugin offers four different types of badges for you to choose from: text badge, image badge, CSS badge, or advanced badge for sales products.

Each type allows you to create unique ways to highlight your products. For example, if you want to brand your products as “New Arrival” or “Vegan Friendly,” the first three options work great.

But here's a tip: If you're creating discount badges, we recommend using the advanced option, which automatically updates based on product price changes.

If you chose an image, CSS, or advanced physician database badge, you'll see a full collection of pre-built badge designs right in the plugin.

You can choose whatever you like. These ready-made badges save you time, and you can even customize them to match the style of your WooCommerce pages .
