What is A/B testing?
A/B testing is a method that allows you to compare the effectiveness of your website. It tells you how your users perceive your website, what they like and what they prefer to click on. You can test product introduction texts, button colors and descriptions, different banners, and much more.
4 reasons to test your website
Higher conversion rate
Monitoring user behavior
Objective and effective evaluation of elements on the page
Cost savings – maybe you just need to change the color of the button, you don't have to redesign the entire website right away
I WANT TO TEST THE WEBSITE
How to A/B test in 5 steps
1. Weakness analysis
Choose a weak point that you want to test. We can test practically gcash database anything, text, images, banners, buttons. But you can also test different types of discounts and offers for existing customers.
2. Future Metric
At the beginning, you determine the goal you want to achieve and choose the appropriate metric. Most often, we measure conversions, i.e. whether a customer sent an inquiry or made a purchase, but we can also measure, for example, time spent on the page (i.e. whether users read the content or just click through).
3. Time period
Even children know that: Statistics are boring, but they contain valuable data. It is important to have a large test group and therefore choose a sufficiently long testing period. If 1000 users visit the site every day, testing for a week is enough. If only dozens of users visit the site, testing for several months is possible. It is not worth rushing when testing. Our goal is to find out how to improve the appearance of the site and achieve higher conversions.
