1) Pizza Hut's interactive menu
Augmented reality is so versatile that it can be implemented in all kinds of industries. Restaurant chains are no exception. Pizza Hut hired Engine Creative to design an augmented reality campaign. The team got to work and found a very creative way to enhance the Pizza Hut menu. Users could scan a trigger image on the menu through the app and access a family-friendly Trivia Challenge, as well as the ability to place a direct order and view a 3D presentation of the meals.
2) Interior design with Home Depot
These days, a lot of furniture stores are using colombia mobile database augmented reality campaigns in their catalogs. It makes sense: this industry has been crying out for it. How do you know if you'll actually like the light blue paint that looks beautiful online, but might be too loud in your bedroom? What if that coffee table doesn't fit in the living room the way you expected? AR technology takes into account the lighting, objects, and shadows in the room, so you can see how that light blue shade will look in real life. If you don't trust your own judgment, you can also share images from the app on social media to get a friend's opinion.
3) Timberland's virtual changing room
Perhaps some of you nostalgic for the 90s will remember Cher’s virtual wardrobe in the 1995 film Clueless. Many must have thought “what a great invention that would be – not having to try on every item to see how it fits.” Timberland made it a reality: it created a virtual changing room at the Moktow Gallery in 2014. Using Kinect motion-sensing technology, Timberland’s virtual changing room allowed shoppers to see an image of their face, and a similarly sized body model, in different outfits.
