While the first Incredibles movie showed us what it was like for the superheroes as they tried to settle down into society and live a normal life, the sequel highlights the difficulties inherent in living a public life. Mr. Incredible is the family's chief crime fighter and breadwinner while Mr. Incredible stays at home and handles day-to-day "heroic deeds" with their super-powered children. While the animated The Incredibles is filled with gorgeous moments of humor, it also touches on something very real.

In the end, the Incredibles are tasked with finding their footing among themselves and with a slew of other superheroes to save the world.
