Doubling down on RESEARCH.

Post by kexej28769@nongnue »

For the past few years, the STAT team has also been a generous source of knowledge, and even as competitors, our engineering teams have shared intel on the latest Google changes. For now, all the brakes are off, and we’re going to dive deep into each other’s brains (figuratively, of course — I’ve only taken mad science so far) to learn what each team does best. We’re going to work on combining STAT’s best-in-class daily tracking technology with Moz’s proprietary metrics (like keyword difficulty) to chart the future of rank tracking.

We will also work together to redefine what “ranking” means in the organic sense. There are a number of SERP features, from featured snippets to video carousels to ask people boxes that uk number data important organic opportunities. Both STAT and Moz have a long history of researching these opportunities and recognize the importance of reflecting them in our products.

One area where Moz excels, as demonstrated by the launch and evolution of Keyword Explorer, is keyword research. We’ll be working hard to put this knowledge to work for STAT users even as we build out Moz’s own toolset. We’re already working to better understand keyword intent and how it impacts keyword research – beyond semantically relevant keywords, how do you find the best keywords with local intent or target the right part of the sales funnel? In the age of answer engines, how do you find the best questions to target? Together, we hope to answer these questions in our products.
