Yandex report provides information about the loading time of the entire site and each page separately. The pages of the resource are loaded in the browser in stages, but the speed of work may be different on each of them.
To find the necessary information in Yandex manufacturing email list reports, go to the "Reports" tab, then select the "Standard reports" subsection. Then "Monitoring", where the necessary data on loading time is located.
The report contains the following information:
Average speed required to load the entire scanned object.
Duration of loading one page.
Turbo page loading speed.
The quality of the site's work and its speed in different geographic locations.
The quantile is taken as the evaluation parameter. Initially, the value is set to 50%. The parameter shows that in half of the situations, the loading time will be the same or less than that indicated in the report. For example, if the parameter has a value of 80%, then in 80% of cases, the page loading time will be less than or equal to the set value.
Let's take any ten pages and analyze their loading speed. Eight out of ten pages checked will load on time.
The user has the ability to set the quantile value themselves. That is, the higher the parameter, the higher the chance that the page will be loaded within the time frame.
Thanks to the metrics in the report, the loading process is clear and divided into stages:
Domain Name System (request processing). A criterion that expresses all the time spent on request processing during the page loading process. Values above 0 are taken into account. The Domain Name System (DNS) depends on the speed of the servers that serve it.
Redirect . The time spent on performing HTTP redirection in the process is taken into account. Naturally, the calculations are formed during the loading of the site. Only values that are higher than 0 are important.
Establishing a connection . The duration of the process when the content on the analyzed server page was expected to load. Again, only non-zero values are needed for reporting. As practice shows, this parameter is affected by the external load of the site, especially the activity of users at the same time.
Server response . The time it took the HTTP server to request information for the page and receive it in response from the browser. The parameter also only takes into account values that are not equal to zero. The time may change depending on the page weight, Internet speed, and the generation of the response from the server.
Loading and parsing HTML . The parameter is made up of the time it took the browser to load the existing content, but before the elements were fully rendered. The value of the parameter is affected by the page size and the number of tags.
Time to DOM Load : The period in which a page is fully loaded (including all its content). In other words, this is the time after which a visitor can start using the page.
Time to page rendering . A time parameter that shows the value from the moment you go to the page until it is rendered. This time is usually about 2 seconds. Users of various Internet resources mistakenly believe that this parameter is the speed of the site.
The above values are calculated in seconds. The search engine can affect the speed of the site, so you should use different browsers when analyzing. To improve reporting, you should first deal with the heaviest elements.
