Somehow the advertisement sounds wrong. And if not wrong, then certainly not quite right. That's what happens when companies from German-speaking Switzerland translate their advertisements for French-speaking Switzerland - instead of adapting them. That's at least as embarrassing as the sometimes sloppy translations.

Advertising that irritates is not a bad belarus rcs data thing in itself. It stands out and attracts attention. However, when you read some of these slogans on billboards, hear them on the radio or see them on television, you have to seriously ask yourself: are they actually doing it on purpose?

For example, when the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) issues the rather awkward directive "Lorsque vous magasinez et faire la queue, gardez vos distances", using the first verb in Québécois French and leaving the second completely unconjugated (at least the third is correct!). Or the fast food chain that advertised with "Au sommet du saveur". A phrase that does not exist in French - and then translated incorrectly. For example, it praised "the taste" (or the taste?) of its hamburger on its posters.
