What is Periscope?
Periscope is a new social platform that allows you to broadcast live video to the world directly from your phone.

Think of Periscope as a video version of Twitter, except you don't have a 140 character limit.

This is one of the many reasons why Twitter acquired Periscope and included the embedding feature in its official WordPress plugin.

Adding the Periscope on Air Button in WordPress
First, you need to install and activate the Twitter plugin for WordPress.
