A contract was signed with the Russian IT developer Sitronics Group, the winner of the FSUE Rosmorport competition, to perform work on transferring the VTS to Russian software in the seaports of the Azov-Black Sea basin.
five VTS to its own software "SiTraffic": the ports of Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Kerch, Sevastopol and Feodosia. Work under the contract should be completed in December 2024.
The Vessel Traffic switzerland whatsapp resourceManagement System (VTS) "SeaTraffic" is an intelligent decision support system that aggregates data on the location and movement of vessels from a large number of sensors, presenting them on an electronic navigation chart, calculating and notifying users in advance of critical points of approach, in real time. VTS is necessary to monitor compliance with the rules of navigation and mooring of vessels in seaports, which allows providing navigation assistance to mariners in order to ensure safe passage of vessels and improve the efficiency of shipping. The VTS hardware and software complex includes specialized software and hardware. VTS "SeaTraffic" also provides integration with e-Navigation services and interaction with Marine Autonomous Surface Vessels (MANS).
"SiTraffic" became the first Russian VTS implemented in Russia - the pilot project of FSUE "Rosmorport" and Sitronics Group to transfer the VTS of the Sochi Sea Port to Russian software was supported by the relevant ministries and departments (the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation) within the framework of the Industrial Competence Center (ICC) "Sea and River Transport" and by decision of the Government Commission was included in the list of particularly significant projects.
"Several transport corridors pass through the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin, and they account for more than a third of all Russian cargo flows. Therefore, a domestic VTS that ensures the uninterrupted operation of the port is a strategically important task. The key requirement for us, as developers, was to ensure information security and software sovereignty at the stage of system development. We have successfully coped with this task, which is confirmed by certification tests, inclusion in the "Unified Register of Russian Software" and successful implementations," said Nikolay Pozhidaev, President of Sitronics Group.
As part of the contract, Sitronics Group will transfer
