To clarify Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the business world in a didactic way, separate myths from truths, present risks and opportunities of this technology for organizations and for the future of work, Adriano Mussa , Academic and Artificial Intelligence Director at LIT, announces the launch of his book: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE – myths and truths, the real opportunities for creating value in business and the impacts on the future of work.
After a major digital transformation at Saint Paul Business School, which culminated in the launch of LIT, the project leader, Adriano Mussa, decided to delve into the pioneering use of artificial intelligence in education and pursue his postdoctoral studies in Artificial Intelligence and Education at Columbia University in the City of New York . The realization that most books on the subject were related to programming and technology concepts that were not very tangible for executives who were not familiar with the subject led Mussa to decide to write a book that would bring in-depth concepts about the new technologies enabled by AI, translated into the business world.
With great didacticism, the author brings the opportunities israel whatsapp data created by new technologies to the business reality, with practical national and international examples, encouraging readers to reflect individually on their applicability in their organizations.
According to Ana Paula Assis, General Manager of IBM Latin America, “Artificial Intelligence - Myths and Truths” serves as a guide for professionals who want to prepare for the future of work and for companies that want to transform their business models and be agents of disruption.
With a deep business and technical vision of AI, Adriano Mussa listed the four essential pillars for the business world into which his book is divided: Part I - What is AI: myths and truths; Part II - AI and organizations: opportunities and risks; Part III - AI and people: opportunities and risks and Part IV - The future of AI: perspectives, limitations and challenges.
“It is a simple and technically sound framework for business people to understand what Artificial Intelligence is in practice. An elegant approach to Artificial Intelligence, relevant from analysts to CEOs", says Leandro Caldeira, CEO of Gympass Brazil.
The book is available in digital format, with the suggested price of R$29.90, and in physical format, for R$79.90, at this link . All proceeds from Saint Paul Editora and the author will be donated to the Infill RJ project , a startup born in Morro do Alemão, in Rio de Janeiro, for the development of low-cost 3D printers, aiming to increase the number of 3D printers and labs in Rio's favelas so that they can be used to produce materials for the communities, especially during the Covid-19 crisis, and as a way to generate income for many young people and families after the end of the pandemic.
"This book is a bridge between the world of Artificial Intelligence and the business world, built by someone who is from a business background, but who has delved very deeply into the world of
Artificial Intelligence, both in theory and practice. In short, this book is written by
someone in business, with business language, for business people”, concludes Adriano Mussa.
