One of Armando’s most effective video strategies is using referral requests. He then continued nurturing past clients by sending out short referral request videos each month.

“It would probably be a lot easier for me if I sent you this video every month for recommendations,” Armando said. "Just reach out in that friendly way and ask... 'If you like my service and you know someone, give us a recommendation if you don't mind.'"

Making this “ask” a consistent part of the customer experience will feel more natural and expected. Customers are more likely to stick around because they've become accustomed to seeing recommendations as an easy way to support a company they value.
