They are two of the giants of the teenage world in Spain and have just joined forces by signing a sponsorship agreement. On the one hand, Habbo, the largest virtual community designed by and for young people, and on the other, U18, the only producer of concerts and festivals exclusively aimed at young audiences in Spain.
"For Habbo, the collaboration with U18 represents a great architect data opportunity, as we have a common audience that will be able to benefit from the synergy between the two companies, and Habbos will have access to events and visits in the community of artists they admire and thus develop their musical side," says EpifanÃa Pascual, Country Manager of Habbo for Spain and Latin America.
"For U18, Habbo's participation will allow us to reach a larger number of young people in Spain. We will create U18 actions in the online and offline world especially aimed at Habbos," adds Flavio Pisoni, creator and partner of U18.
The first events that serve as a launch event for the agreement are the concerts that the British pop-rock band McFly will offer for the first time in Spain in Madrid and Barcelona on the 12th and 13th of September. However, it will be several weeks before that when Habbo users begin to participate in the contests that will allow them to win double tickets for each of the performances and even 'meet&greet' passes, with which it will be possible to meet the artists face to face.
The competitions will kick off in August and will involve, among other things, becoming the best look-alike of McFly guitarist Tom Fletcher and avoiding the harassment of fans in the best possible way; getting a 'geeky' souvenir from one of the band members and recreating the scene inside one of the Habbo Hotel Rooms; or designing new McFly merchandising, from t-shirts to key chains, including backpacks.
