Things like travelling to places we normally

Virtual reality is closer than ever and many companies have seen the potential that this technology offers in all areas.

And it has come to revolutionize not only the entertainment of users but also the day-to-day operations of companies in all their processes, from the initial product design, through to the consumer experience, the design of establishments or manufacturing itself.

To explain how virtual reality is already changing the business environment, Antonio Muñoz, virtual reality director of HTC Vive , has participated in the Fashion Tech event.

"Virtual reality is the closest thing to having superpowers. It's a new technology that is going to revolutionize the way companies run their day-to-day operations ," he begins.

Although he also acknowledges that it is still in a very early phase, with only a few people beginning to believe in it.

"Just like smartphones, virtual reality is just beginning to be adopted by techies, but its possibilities make it a promising tool," he explains.

He also highlights HTC's leadership in the virtual reality market. "We have been working for a long time with design tools, simulation software, etc. to get the most out of this technology."

But what does virtual reality allow? don't have access to, like Everest, or reliving the brazil phone number Apollo 13 landing on the Moon, as well as video games.

But it can also be applied to the business world. “Virtual reality can help in all processes, from the first sketches to their presentation to the final client. It means cost optimisation,” says Muñoz.

And we are already beginning to see numerous innovative projects where virtual reality makes a difference. Its possibilities are endless in different areas of business processes. Thus, it allows:

1.Create new brand experiences by adding smells, colors and entering a new world.

2. Helping with store design. Not only in terms of customer experience, but also in terms of understanding consumer habits through sensors integrated into the glasses that allow users to know what attracts the most attention so that changes can be made in real time, allowing for strategy optimization.

3. Product design, not only for company professionals but also when offering product customization to users.

4. Manufacturing process. The simulation of manufacturing processes or the prevention of occupational risks are some of the uses of virtual reality at this stage.

Faced with this vast array of possibilities, there is only one choice: take the red pill or the blue one. Do you also want to enter the new virtual world?
