With the new Portrait Mode , content creators can adjust the orientation of their streaming studio to perfectly accommodate the vertical experience. This functionality is especially valuable for those who want to make the most of mobile viewing and deliver an optimized user experience.
Switching your studio to portrait mode is a simple process. Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Go to the StreamYard studio.
2. Click Settings in the bottom row of buttons. 3. Under the General
section , you'll find the Orientation option . 4. Select Portrait to change the orientation of the studio.
It is important to note that once the studio is up and belize number data running, it is not possible to change the orientation , so this must be adjusted before starting the live broadcast.
All of StreamYard's default layouts will automatically adapt to portrait mode. However, custom landscape layouts do not support portrait mode, so it is recommended to create new branded assets , reformatting them for a 9:16 portrait aspect ratio .
For existing backgrounds in landscape orientation, StreamYard will crop in the center to fit portrait orientation. Video clips and overlays in landscape orientation will be vertically centered with black bars at the top and bottom when using portrait mode.
