Waste collection plant

Post by ayeshshiddika11 »

What types of waste could we manage?
The quantity and nature of waste varies greatly depending on its origin. For this reason, three large groups are usually distinguished:

Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)
These are the wastes we produce daily in our homes, shops, offices, markets, restaurants, streets, etc. Factories also produce some MSW, particularly in offices, warehouses or canteens (paper, cardboard, packaging and food waste...).

Toxic and Hazardous Waste (TWW)
These are produced in industrial processes and must be managed in a special way. We also have this type of waste in our homes (bleach, paints, aerosols, solvents, batteries...). Both the substance and the container that has contained it are considered RTP.

Other Waste
These are those that we produce in industrial ghana phone data or construction activities and that are not MSW or Toxic, that is, they do not undergo physical, chemical or biological transformations once dumped (debris, packaging, slag, etc.).

Depending on their origin, they can also be classified according to the following classification:

Urban solid waste: MSW
As indicated in the previous classification

Industrial waste
These are waste products resulting from manufacturing, transformation, use, consumption, cleaning or maintenance processes generated by industrial activity ( Law 22/2011, of July 28, on Waste and Contaminated Soils ), excluding emissions into the atmosphere ( regulated by Law 34/2007, of November 15 ).

Industrial waste is generally a substance that contains components that are negative for the environment. For this reason, the control that must be exercised over such waste must be very rigorous at all points.

Prevention
It refers to the acquisition of materials in a suitable manner, in which proper disposal of waste is foreseen.

Elimination
Proper disposal of waste must be carried out, whether it is hazardous or not.

Recycling
It refers to the possibility of reusing or recycling materials.

Storage and transportation
It is important to store and transport waste in accordance with current legislation and contractual provisions.
