UGR Master Class: “Entrepreneurial Motivation”

Tomorrow Tuesday I will give one of my favourite training sessions; one of those where when the phone rings and they tell you about it, you know you will say yes without hesitation. And even more so if the caller is Jerónimo Vida . My friend Jerónimo, a professor and entrepreneur at the University of Granada , with whom I have shared different entrepreneurial adventures, wants me to spend the afternoon with his 4th year Physics students, within the Projects subject.
In this subject, we talk about the profession itself, entrepreneurship and the projects that can be carried out, success stories, etc. Let me tell you that this is “very rare” at the UGR, but vital for a job market that is increasingly competitive and global.
But it can seem strange until you know who is behind this subject, Jerónimo Vida. A lover of his profession and his area, he has several projects, programs, mentoring, experience in japan telegram data Junior Companies, Local Agendas, Acoustic Maps, etc. that give him a more than evident differentiation within the teaching staff. Jerónimo has lived what he explains in “the street” , in the company, in the market, in absolute reality, and that gives an incalculable added value to his students. Proof of this is that this subject does not stop growing in enrollment, reaching the current 42 registrations (31 a year ago).
I will talk about entrepreneurial motivation, about my experience, I will treat the error with care, since I am convinced that:
Mistakes are teachers of life…
We will discuss the life of an entrepreneur, his problems, the importance of differentiation to achieve success, etc. At the end of the session, we will establish an open debate so that everyone can participate and contribute, in order to complete the session and learn from each other.
Although I am not a student of Francisco Umbral, I will also tell you about “my book” , since it is totally related to that philosophy of differentiation that Jerónimo has and that he tries (and succeeds) in instilling in his students for decades.
I repeat with Jerónimo a year later in his class , and it will be like this until he wants. A year has passed and I still haven't managed to get this very different teacher to join Twitter, he has a lot to contribute; but perhaps his absence from “Larry's network” is due to that very thing, to his differentiation, because the things he wants to communicate and that mark the student, can only be done in a classroom, face to face...
