In May 2011, Google provided tips on creating high-quality websites on the Webmaster Central blog to help webmasters. These included questions such as:Would you trust the information contained in this article?

Does the website have duplicate, overlapping, or redundant articles on the same or similar topics with slightly different keywords?
Would you trust this website with your credit card information?
Does this article contain spelling, stylistic, or factual errors?

Do the topics correspond to the real interests of the website's readers or does the website generate content with the aim of achieving a good ranking in search engines?
Does the article contain original content or information, original reporting, original research, or original analysis?
Does the page have significant value compared to other pages in the search results?
