How to Analyze Keyword Intent?

Post by sakib40 »

Commercial intent refers to a user's intention to convert a product or service. This could be comparing the product with another, searching for prices, etc. On the other hand, with informational intent, the user seeks to acquire information about the product without urgent expectations of a conversion, but rather more information about it.

Transactional intent identifies a user who is looking to make a home owner database conversion immediately and wants to do it right, so they search for terms like "cheap" or "shipping" once they have all the necessary product information. Browsing intent refers to the search for a specific web page to access.

Keywords are important for positioning your company in search engines and for those searching for content related to your industry to find you more quickly. Keywords connect users with what they're looking for.

To analyze keyword intent, SEMrush uses a machine learning algorithm that analyzes:

SERP features present in the keyword results.
The presence of words in the keyword that indicate the user's mood/intention (such as: buy, address, how).
Whether the keyword is branded or non-branded
To analyze it, you first need to determine which tool you'll be using to analyze it. You can find it in Keyword Magic Tool, Position Tracking, Keyword Manager, and Organic Research, among others.
