How to make a Marketing Plan? That's the question I asked myself when I started working as a Marketing Assistant.
At the time, all I could find was a PDF with at least 300 pages. I remember spending the little money I had to print it.
Did it help? No. Because I learned to do marketing planning in a different way, and that is exactly the way I will share with you today.
How to make a Marketing Plan
Although the name sounds a bit glamorous, in practice it is not complex. And I will tell you why:
When you decide to study a career and graduate, you are doing marketing without realizing it.
When you prepare to apply for a job, you are also implementing a marketing plan.
We are constantly making a marketing plan and implementing it. Just like when you are in your group of friends or coworkers and you propose a solution to a problem or situation that needs to be solved.
But let's start at the beginning: what is a marketing plan?
A marketing plan is a document in which we establish what we Spain telegram data want to achieve (normally sales objectives, how we want our brand to be seen, how we want to be perceived) and with the details of what we will do to achieve it and how we will do it.
Surely when you searched on Google, you found an image with a lot of graphics, and yes, the truth is that that is part of the Marketing plan, but in reality it is more of a marketing results report.
A marketing results report is the report where we see the results of what we did in the marketing plan : What we did, what we achieved, how many sales we have made, how many potential customers we have achieved.

Marketing Plan is an organization of actions
The question you should always ask yourself before doing anything in marketing is where you are today and what your goals are (where you want to be) within a period of time (for example, in 6 and 12 months).
Only after looking at the objectives is it important to review the resources (what you have and what you will need to act).
Then, we see what can be done to achieve those objectives (from there we use what is done in Marketing, such as techniques to attract people using the website , YouTube channel, and also advertising on social networks and Google).
It is basically making a list of actions to be implemented in a period of time, whose expected result is the goals and objectives proposed above.
A Marketing Plan is made to avoid getting lost along the way.
So is the marketing plan just a list of actions to follow? No. The plan has indicators, which help us understand whether we are achieving our objectives over time.
For example: The goal is to achieve 100 sales per month, but to do that, we need to start investing what we have (for example, $100). We won't achieve 100 sales with $100, but we need to understand how many dollars invested will result in a sale (conversion rate).
If I know that for every $100 invested we get 3 sales of $30, we are at a good point. This means that we need to invest, on average, $3,333.33 to achieve the 100 sales per month that we mentioned above.
