I would try to be clear-headed

Post by jrineakter »

Then I would say to myself: "Be lucid". That's the third piece of advice. Being lucid means being realistic, being aware of reality. And I would say to myself: "Don't think that you can live without problems and without stress. Johan, 20 years old, you have to understand that there are unimaginable things that can happen to you, that will happen to you. You will have problems in your family". At 20, I would never have thought that there could be problems in my family. I'm talking about my family in the wider sense, in particular. I would say to myself: "You can be betrayed by friends". At 20, no, I would never have thought that. My friends, it was impossible that they would betray me.

So you see, about the world and I would say to myself: "A life without problems is impossible. You're going to have problems, you're going to be stressed, you're going to have betrayals, family problems. There's no certainty. So the only remedy for that is to trust yourself and make sure you're comfortable in the chaos, not to sink when it's difficult. Be clear-headed."

The fourth piece of advice I would give myself out of 8, we're halfway through, is: "Solve your problems on paper." Often, when we have a problem, we tend to want to solve it in our head, but it's uk whatsapp number data often too complicated to solve our problems directly in our head.

The most effective way to solve a problem is to take a piece of paper and write it down clearly, write things like what is the problem, define the problem. We often try to solve a problem that we have not yet defined, that is still vague in our minds.

So you take a piece of paper, you write down what your problem is. You ask yourself what is the worst that can happen. Often, too, we tend to stress without knowing what is really at stake and the problem that seems absolutely serious is not, so what is the worst that can happen, accept that, accept what we cannot change. So here is the worst that can happen, it is this thing, well I have to accept it and then act as quickly as possible.

So, following my sheet, I write down these are the possible actions. I can test this, I can do this, I can do that and I define the action that I will execute as quickly as possible. The idea is to act as quickly as possible because I am convinced that action, the fact of acting, is the best remedy for anxiety. When we are anxious, often, it is because we do nothing. Being anxious means being passive and afraid of the future. On the other hand, as soon as we act, inevitably, we limit anxiety.
