About working with Advanced Steel and the reason for Tekla's popularity in factories
According to the expert, Tekla’s popularity is due to its greater customization capabilities and a large community that helps designers share experiences. In addition, there are many available courses on how to use the software, and some EPC telegram in philippines contractors include its use in their requirements.

Working with Advanced Steel files in MasterFab is also possible, but older versions of the program do not allow flexible work with IFC, which complicates data upload. However, importing models is still possible, and if necessary, support specialists can help you understand the process.

Possibility of warehouse analysis and creation of a purchase list
When asked whether MasterFab could analyze warehouse balances and generate procurement statements taking into account available materials, the expert noted that such a function would be implemented in the future, immediately after the completion of work on the cutting functionality.

At the moment, working on the platform in offline mode is not yet possible, but the developers are actively working on this issue. In the future, it is planned to provide local access to data to simplify the work, especially in workshops where the Internet may work poorly. Among the alternative options for today, the ability to view the status of models in offline mode was announced, which is already in demand among fitters.

Working with changes in the model
The last question answered by the expert was related to the need to re-save the entire model after making point changes to the assembly. To maintain data correctness during this operation, MasterFab uses GUID-based saving logic at the object and assembly level. This allows the system to update only those parts that have undergone changes without affecting other objects. This approach minimizes the need for a full model reboot and avoids data loss.

The experts also discussed the possibility of using not only GUIDs but also additional custom properties to identify and compare objects. This could be useful, since there is a risk of resetting the element numbering when re-saving the model.
