As a result, less than 5% of respondents in either segment said they were able to utilize it, and over 60% said they had no plans to introduce it. From this, it appears that the use of generative AI is limited in business situations, just as it is in everyday life. Furthermore, although the difference is small, the order of the progress of introduction is highest for "the entire company/organization," "the department to which one belongs," and "individual work," which suggests that at present, introduction is being promoted by the efforts of the entire organization rather than by the initiative of individual business people.
It was also revealed that businesspeople who use generative AI work for companies with larger employee bases. On the other hand, the percentage of business people who predicted "very little" decreased significantly the higher their position. Based on these results, Intage believes that this is because business people with higher positions have a deeper understanding of the capabilities and future potential of generative AI, and recognize the possibility of using it effectively as a tool to support their own decision-making.
