The amount of funding for the BAS national project indicated in Belousov's presentation is 184.7 billion rubles less than the initial total budget for the BAS national project announced in the media in August 2023. Federal budget expenditures, according to the presentation, are reduced by 137.4 billion rubles.

At the design stage, the total lebanon whatsapp resource investment (federal, regional and extra-budgetary) in the development of civilian UAVs in Russia until 2030 was planned to be 898.4 billion rubles, Vedomosti wrote in August 2023. The main funding comes from the state. 696.9 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget, the publication noted. This figure was relevant at least until the beginning of this year. In January, TASS reported that the volume of funding for the national project from budget funds until 2030 would amount to "almost 700 billion rubles", citing a representative of the Belousov secretariat.

Although, as of April 8, according to the budget system portal, financial support for the implementation of the national project in the period from 2024 to 2030 amounts to only 109.11 billion rubles.

At the same time, state funding for the national project this year, on the contrary, may increase by 100 million rubles. According to Belousov's presentation, federal budget expenditure on the national project is 46.5 billion rubles. While in January, Belousov's representative told TASS that 46.4 billion rubles would be allocated in 2024.

At the moment, a general balancing of the portfolio of national projects is taking place taking into account the provisions of the Russian President's address, a source in the government told Forbes. "Based on the new goals and objectives set by the President and taking into account the resources of the budget system, preliminary calculations are being made to clarify the budget of the national BAS project for the period 2027-2030. There are no plans to change the budget of the national project for 2024, 2025 and 2026. Final decisions will be made within the framework of the budget process in 2025-2027," a source in the government explained.

Forbes' interlocutor does not know for what purposes the funds withdrawn from the national BAS project will be redistributed. According to him, this issue will be decided in June-October during the final review of national projects and the formation of the budget for 2025-2027.

Previously, the BAS national project itself was replenished through other budget initiatives. As Forbes wrote in September 2023, the government decided to redirect almost 200 billion rubles from the Ecology national project to it.

Forbes sent inquiries to the government press service duty officer and to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, appointed as the responsible executor of the BAS national project. Forbes also sent a request to the Ministry of Finance.

"Manned aviation will only be used for transporting people"
A representative of one of the BAS developers told Forbes that the company has not yet noticed a reduction in the overall budget of the national project. Work on the BAS national project is already underway, the source confirmed to Forbes.

Today, civilian UAVs are already performing monitoring missions in the fuel and energy sector, construction, and nature management, controlling various transport infrastructure, and conducting flight checks of air navigation equipment, lists the areas of application of UAVs, CEO and founder of Fly Drone Nikita Danilov. "Drones are used not only for aerial photography for mapping, but also for regular aerial photography of various events, including in the interests of the media and show business. Drone racing has now become a full-fledged sport with a certain commercial component," he says. "Drones are used in the security business, as well as in search and rescue operations. Drones are very actively used in agriculture, and their use in logistics has begun on an experimental basis."
